Stay Home Day!

 It's a beautiful morning. Sun is shining and the ocean is calm. I got up again before Kyanne. She was up late last night so she needs her rest. I was able to get breakfast on the go before I heard her scream " Maman"!

 
Yes I can be evil sometime. I was able to hide eggs in her pancakes. Kyanne still doesn't like  eggs. I found a recipe that does not include flour. Kyanne ate 2 so they must be good. :)

 

I know Kyanne as up late last night but it does not excuse her for her behavior this morning. Renée was leaving for NYC this morning and I was on the phone with Rogers to add a travel pack on her cell plan. Kyanne was trying to get my attention when she realized that I was not listening to her, she went in the bathroom and peed on the floor and told me to come help her. As I walked in, I could tell that it was not an accident. She needed attention. That was really weird. Oh and all day, she was clinged to my hip. She did not leave my side. I don't know if she's confused because she's not going to day care but I made sure that she understand that it was not ok.

Today was a really relaxed day. I decided that we were going to have a little siesta outside. Kyanne was all game for it. It was nice. We could hear the birds tweeting. :)

Kyanne always likes to give me great big kisses! She's my girl!

After Kyanne's nap, we went to get a few groceries to make a salad. On my way out the door, 2 Jamaican stoped us and asked me if I had someone to braid Kyanne's hair. How rude lol! Did they not like the fact that I had taken Kyanne's braid out yesterday and just did not brush or comb her hair today lol! So got her number and she is going to come next week to braid her hair. Less work for mommy.

So last night, I had to drink Victor's wine cause I ran out of mine. I don't like his cause it's fruity. I went to the liquor store to get a bottle of good wine and came back with an additional bottle of Gin! It was on sale so I could not leave it there.

 

 We spend most of the day at the beach! It was warm with a nice breeze. Thomas enjoys the water. I was not sure if he was going to be a beach bum like us, but most of the mornings, he walks straight to the beach for a morning swim.

This evening, my friend Suzanne and her husband came over for a BBQ. They started their 3 weeks vacation as well today. We had a good time. Kyanne was however all over me. I don't know if it was because she was tired but she was like a velcro.

Spending of the day:

• 2 Bottle of wine $25
• Groceries $25

Ok so liquor was more that groceries. It should even out tomorrow. :)
