Spirit lifted!

The last few days have been great.

I have been reconnected so all is good. :)

Weekend went really fast. Saturday, Victor and I had a day to ourselves. I drove Kyanne to my mom in Memramcook. It was a weird feeling. Every time I turned around I was looking for her. Friday night, we had a few drinks with Renée and her friends. Renée had bough jolly rancher chews and she left them on the counter when she went to bed. Can you guest what is the first thing Kyanne spotted when she came down stairs??? She wanted them before breakfast. I told her that she could bring some at mémére. As we were getting ready, she took her backpack and brought it in the car. I found it odd and decided to check what was in it... there it was. Both packages of jolly rancher chews in her bag! She was all excited to go. Usually she makes a fuss when I bring her to my moms. She is not used to staying there alone without me. I think the candy make the difference lol! While Kyanne was having fun with my mom, Lauza, Miguel and Jérémie, Victor and I went boating with Louis and Monique. It took me a good hour to get used to not checking every minute for her. After awhile, I decided to really take advantage and relax. I laid back in the boat and listen to music. We had a fun afternoon.

 Sunday was windy. We relaxed around the house and then went for a Goji yogurt. Kyannae loves it. She knows that she is going to get some chocolate candy and gummy worms. I guess I am now a bit more laid back and I let her get a treat once in a while without hyperventilating. It's funny to listen to her after her treat. She will talk to me about all the other food that she eats that is healthy. :) She does understand but she just want to be a kid.

Nicole brought Kyanne for a drive to see her aunt after supper. Kyanne was so excited to go with her big sister. She ran to me to give me a big hug and a kiss. I took that time to go walk to dogs on the beach. The waves crashing on the beach sounded like autumn. It was loud but relaxing at the same time.
