Best Monday Ever!

 

Today was beach day at Aboiteau Beach in Cap-Pelé!

Kyanne having fun in the morning after yoga. I left her in the garage for a few minutes and came back and she had found a snow hat. She's can be quite funny at times.

All morning, I was complaining that I needed my fix of caffeine. I so want an espresso machine. Then again... who needs espresso or an Americano when you have a good Corona on a Monday afternoon. That lifted my spirit lol!

 

Kyanne did really well today at the beach. Suzanne and I had her by the hands and she was kicking back like she was swimming. She finally warmed up to the ocean. I guess I'll have to take her swimming this winter so she won't be afraid next summer.

After a fun day at the beach and no naps, this is what happens when mommy is getting supper ready.

After this beautiful picture was taken, we had supper, bath and mommy tough for sure that it was going to be an easy bedtime routine cause she was so tired. Wrong! Guess again! As I had finished reading her 2nd book, she asked me for some water. I reached for the glass and she said she wanted her other bottle. I explained to her that the other one was still in the car and she would have it tomorrow. That did not go so well! Yes she had a tantrum! She started screaming and  kicking. I was surely not going to give up after her freak attack and go get the bottle. I sat by her side and watched her scream. Daddy on the other hand, was not so calm. He ran upstairs to see what was going on. I asked him if he wanted to stay and join us but he left lol! After 3 minutes she calmed down and cuddled by my side. I honestly thought it was over and she was going to pass out quickly... but no! No such luck for mommy tonight. She tossed and turned for another good hour. By the time I came down stairs, I was exhausted. I love her so much, but she sucks out my energy so bad! Oh well. I guess it's part of being a parent.
