Fun Weekend
This week was a mix bag of tricks. I finished the audio book " The Power" and fell that I am ready to concur the world lol! Not! I tried very much to apply the lessons in the book, however it's hard to stay positive when others are giving you shit or you are totally in disagreement with what they are saying. So what I did today was " Smile and nod". Just for example, today was a very long day. I was sitting in a boardroom and all I could hear was wamp wamp wamp... I honestly don't care about what I do. I have absolutely no passion or satisfaction. :( Don't get me wrong... I love helping out people, but what I do is just not cutting it for me. If the people that were with me in the boardroom with me today were all mind readers, they would of opened the door and let me out. I was screaming in my mind. Monday I was on the job bank sites trying to find something interesting. I actually found a trainer job that I was sort of interested in at Blue Cross, but they pay check is not enough for my spending's. After a good chat with a friend of mine, I sort of snapped out of it and realized that I have a good job and I should just keep on smiling and nodding lol! Well today I was back to not wanting to be fake. I have Doreen Virtue Life Purpose cards and I decided to do a reading for current situation and it was all about my career. It said that whatever it is that I am looking to do, it would be hard work. It will not come to me on a silver platter. If know that I will find my happy job eventually, but for the time being, I have to keep sending love like the audio book said to do. :)
To skip to another subject, I just wanted to say how proud I am of my stepdaughter Nicole. She started to run this spring. They called it, couch to 5K. Well she just did a 10K tonight. She is motivated like you would not believe it. Kyanne and I tried to follow her and it did not work. We ran about 4K and I almost died. After a summer of eating and drinking... Ya! I was not ready to run a 10K tonight. I am going to be so soar tomorrow. Kyanne enjoys running with us. She sits in the stroller and changes the songs on our iPhones.

Visiter from Edmonton.
Kyanne was so happy Friday when I told her that her uncle Mathieu was finally coming home for a visit. She only saw him 3 times in her life. He came last summer for 2 weeks and we visited him in Banff for a few days. There is a bond that she has with him. I cannot explain it. It's just natural. She is so comfortable with him. He would be such a good father... only if he could find a girl friend and then get married. :)
I don't realize how much I miss him cause we don't talk that often on the phone, but when I see him coming out of the plan, I am always so happy to see him. Kyanne and I spent the afternoon and evening at my moms on Friday. I thought we were going to give my mom a heart attack. She is not used to having all of us in her house lol. Let just say, that Kyanne has a little bit too much energy for her. :)
I don't realize how much I miss him cause we don't talk that often on the phone, but when I see him coming out of the plan, I am always so happy to see him. I guess I was not all that positive the at the beginning of the week. I was tired and I didn't want to wake up in the morning. Kyanne started a cold to top it off so she's not her usual happy personality and it's running me down. I continued by Wednesday, I continued to listen to audio book, "Power". I just needed a little boost to get me back on track. Tuesday was really rough day at work. I took everything negative and did not try to make it better. After listening to the "Power" on my way to work Wed., it made a huge difference. My attitude had totally changed. I know that I still don't like my job, however I made it fun today. I was able to enjoy my day.
Listening to "Power" made me realize something. I really do believe in this shit lol! If you set your mind that you want something and you send out good energy... it will come to you. Way back when Victor and I had just bough our house in Cormier Village, we were invited to a party at Renée and Nicole's grand-father's place that is on our current street. It was my first time there. We were outside by the cliff and I could hear the waves crashing. It as unbelievable. I remember being there thinking to myself that that's where I want to live. I had not said that I wanted to live by the ocean, but specifically there. While listening to the "Power" this week, it hit me that I had asked for it. I wanted to live there and we now have our home at that same location. 2 houses from there.
I think I am going to continue to stay positive so good things can come to me. :) I have another good one to share! My husband got us a central vac 2 years ago. I have been complaining that the dam thing does not suck enough lol! The other day, I was getting really frustrated with it and tought that I should just stop because things were not going to change cause it was still new. What do you know... I used it and got something stuck in the system. No I did not do it on purpose haha. The guy came to fix it and what do you know... I got an upgrade for $100 more and this one sucks. :)/
I finally did it! I checked our bank accounts and we are still good. :) We survived my 3 weeks without pay!!! I guess I'll be able to do it again now that I know that it works.
Kyanne has a cold. Poor thing. After having her out of daycare for 3 weeks, her system got attack right away with germs.

Back to work
We survived our first day back! I guess I did not really sleep all that well. I woke up at least 3 times to check the alarm clock. :(
It was really cute this morning, when I woke up Kyanne at 6:10, I told her in a soft voice that we needed to get up early this morning because we were staring our routine again. She quickly opened her eyes, sat down and asked me if we were going to Yoga with a big smile on her face! I guess she's just like mommy. She rather do yoga that work.
We managed to get ready on time this morning. I guess it was the first day back so I had to make an impression lol! Nothing really changed at work. Everyone is just sitting at their desk. Why am I there!!! Frigue I need to get out. My coworker and I went for an Americano as soon as I walked in the building. I told her I did not want any update before I had caffeine.
I was really looking forward for yoga today. It was power flow. I liked it but I miss my side kick. She still has 1 week left of vacation. She started a week after me. They are camping in the states. She'll be back next week and we can start to go regularly again.
So not much has changed except that I still want to change jobs. If I keep on posting it and doing my positive thinking about it, it might change. :)

Last day of vacation
This is going to be a very positive and powerful post! I truly enjoyed my time home for 3 weeks. I will cherish the memories, however I am not saying that it's over. I truly think that I am due for a change in my career and things are going to changes soon for the better.
Instead of thinking it was all over and I was getting back to my routine, I just enjoyed the day. We went to the market this morning on our way to drop off Kyanne with Renée and Alex. We tried the Bangkok food truck. It was good but not wow! Everyone was talking about it so I had to try it.
An afternoon all alone again. We are getting spoiled. I sat by the cliff and relaxed with the waves. It was a really nice day, but I did not feel like actually going on the beach. I just watched it from my chair.
Renée and Alex brought Kyanne to the Kit Festival in Dieppe. She had a great time. She came home, passed out in the back seat. When I opened the door, she woke up and started telling me the fun stuff she did. She even build her own kit. It was too cute. Oh and she had her face painted as 'Hello Kitty'!
The Jamaican that was suppose to do Kyanne's hair never showed up. She probably got distracted and something better came up. Oh well, Renée volunteered to do her hair tonight. I had not even asked Kyanne to go take her bath yet that she had already asked Amanda to help her with her bath. She absolutely loves her sister Amanda. She ask for her all the time.

Boating time!
When we got home from our relaxed getaway, Louis and Monique invited us to go boating. The whole family joined us. The ocean is one of my passion! I love being on the water. It's a very calming feeling. I am so glad that Kyanne is not afraid of the water. We went to Shediac and anchored with other boats. We had a great time. We finished the evening at Captain Dan for some greasy food. Tonight was the last of my vacation time! Am I sad? No! I am very grateful for the 3 weeks I had at home with Kyanne. I am not happy to return back to my job, but at the same time, I think I need to go back in order for me to find something more exciting. A job that I want to do. Not sit at desk all day updating task and milestones...
Only in Cap-Pelé... I heard fireworks at 3:30 am in the morning. It lasted a good half hour. Must of been quite the party lol! Thomas was so scarred that he jumped right into bed with us. He's a big baby.

Getway!
Friday morning, Aug 16, 2013, Victor and I left for a little escape. Yes! Just the 2 of us. We let Kyanne sleep. No rush this morning. After 3 weeks at home, I am starting to enjoy the slow paste. I enjoy every little details of my morning. We dropped off Kyanne at daycare and headed to St. Martins, NB. Instead of rushing to get there fast, we stopped to get a fresh baguette at the French bakery in Shediac and a Americano at Tyme Inn.
Once we headed in the woods after Susex, we had no reception on both of our cells. We were completely disconnected. Once we got there, Victor had a sig on his cell. We texted Renée to let her know were had arrived and that was it. We enjoyed our day together doing some site seeing. The Fundy Trail is just amazing. We even stopped for a picnic and enjoyed the calmness.
On our way back the next day, we both agreed that we need to take more time like this just the 2 of us. We were able to talk and laugh. We were not stressing about our everyday live. We enjoyed each other's company!

Busy day!
This morning, Kyanne had 2 appointments. We still took the time to relax a bit before heading out but it was really windy to be outside that early. Kyanne went at the allergy clinic and Osteopath. I t seems that milk and yogurt has been treated. Next treatment will be the sugars. hopefully she won't have a runny nose all winter long like last year.
Once we finished our appointments, we rushed to Costco to get our pictures take nn for our passport. Mine expired at the beginning of this month and now Kyanne is able le to apply for a Canadian Passport. I am not wasting anytime for her to be able to get her passport. You never know were we'll end up. :)
Kyanne wanted to go eat at Calactus so we went for our usual. I love this resto and I am so happy that she's asking to go there and not McDonlad's lol! It never happened before so I am going to enjoy it while it last.
This evening, we were suppose to go see the Tintamarre for 15 Aout, Acadian day, but we ended up going to Suzanne and JS camper in Shediac. We had supper with them and their neighbors, Isabelle and Maurice. Kyanne had fun with the girls but because she's the youngest one of the crowd, she is having a tough time. A few times, we had to intervene. At supper time, Kyanne was a bit sad. She was sitting at the children's table when she saw me sitting down at the other table, she had tears in her eyes. I went to get her and brought her to the table with us. It was her first time seeing mommy sitting at a different table from her.

My kind of day!
Each week of my vacation have been different is some way. Yes my mornings did not change that much. I am so grateful for them and would like to keep them... Positive thinking... I still have some time before I have to report back to work. :)
1st week - to do list.
2nd week - more mellow and not much to do that spend time with my princess.
3rd week- Having fun!
This morning, we kinda speeded things up. I brought Kyanne to daycare so she could get
back in the routine somewhat. I dropped her off at 8:30 so I could go to a hot yoga class with Suzanne. It was more that amazing. We did a 1:15 minute class. I was on cloud 9! By the end of the class, I feel that I can concur anything. I feel so great. I actually had a plan during my class. I was visualizing that I could quit my job, go take a course in Thailand.to become a yoga master and open my own yoga studio. Now how great would that be???? Going to work and doing what like. I am going to keep on thinking positive and visualizing this scenario! :)
After our class, we wen to sit down to drink an Americano at café Cognito. It felt different not having to rush back to work. I actually enjoyed my coffee! We continued our journey for our shot of wheatgrass at Sequoia and then the German bakery for lunch! I could get used to living like this. Doing the things that I like everyday.
Once we finished our grocery shopping, I dropped off Suzanne at her house so I could go pick up Kyanne to spend time with her before I left again for a girls night out! I well deserved night! Suzanne invited me for dinner and a movie with her friends.
On our way back from daycare, we stopped at the mail box to find a package that I was so waiting for! Yes!!!! Kyanne got her Citizenship! Yahooo!!!! We can now travel outside Canada once I get her Canadian Passport. I got so excited over it. Finally my sweet baby girl is a Canadian. So happy for her. Kyanne got all excited as well and sang part of Oh Canada and called mémére and daddy to let them know that she was a Canadian. I am so glad I have it all on video to show her the moment when she is older. nd
Evening out! Kyanne was ok with me leaving this evening. I explained to her that I was going out with my friends for a few hours like she was with her friend today at daycare. She told me that she was not going to cry. I was so proud of her.
Dinner at St. James Gate at Fox Creek was fun minus the part that there was bacon in my appetizer... I was so not happy. On a happier note... they gave me a free glass of wine because it did not say on the menu that there was bacon lol! I am still alive so I guess it was not that bad. We went to see ' We're the Millers' It was hilarious! I think we laughed through the whole movie. I really enjoyed my evening. Suzanne's friends are really down to earth and nice.

Relax day

Not that I am counting my last week of vacation. I am still trying to life in the present moment but I know time is ticking.
Kyanne woke up all happy! We did our little routine outside. I think it's the morning part that I love the most about my vacation. We get to relax, do yoga, sip on my coffee and smoothies. It's so relaxing being outside in the mornings. I wish I could start my regular job at 11 am so I can stay home and relax. :)
Suzanne and her daughter Sophie came over to spend the day with us. We had lunch outside and then headed to Friel Beach. Kyanne and Sophie picked some beach glasses in their buckets. It's so funny to see them together. Sophie is older and has a strong character. Kyanne on the other hand, wants to do everything Sophie is doing and has a strong character as well. They don't always agree.
After last night tantrum, Victor and I decided that we needed a night to ourselves. I booked us 1 night in Saint Martins, NB at a B&B for Friday. We really need to spend time together just to 2 of us. We barely have time to talk anymore. Our house is crowded as well so we just need to get out and be alone. I love having all the children in our home, but we need our time as well as a couple.

All morning, I was complaining that I needed my fix of caffeine. I so want an espresso machine. Then again... who needs espresso or an Americano when you have a good Corona on a Monday afternoon. That lifted my spirit lol!
After this beautiful picture was taken, we had supper, bath and mommy tough for sure that it was going to be an easy bedtime routine cause she was so tired. Wrong! Guess again! As I had finished reading her 2nd book, she asked me for some water. I reached for the glass and she said she wanted her other bottle. I explained to her that the other one was still in the car and she would have it tomorrow. That did not go so well! Yes she had a tantrum! She started screaming and kicking. I was surely not going to give up after her freak attack and go get the bottle. I sat by her side and watched her scream. Daddy on the other hand, was not so calm. He ran upstairs to see what was going on. I asked him if he wanted to stay and join us but he left lol! After 3 minutes she calmed down and cuddled by my side. I honestly thought it was over and she was going to pass out quickly... but no! No such luck for mommy tonight. She tossed and turned for another good hour. By the time I came down stairs, I was exhausted. I love her so much, but she sucks out my energy so bad! Oh well. I guess it's part of being a parent.
