Passeport... Adoption journey completed!

Our baby girl is now free as a bird! She has the document in her possession that will allow her to travel the world. Back in June 2008, more than 5 years ago, Victor and I had a plan. Never in our minds did we think it was going to take this long to achieve/complete this process. Emotionally I broke down quite a few times during all the ups and down, but the irony in all this, is that I got stronger and more determined. When our agency went bankrupt and the earthquake hit Haiti, I knew I could not just sit and wait, I had to fight. I did not let these events get in the way. I was able to stay focus and DID NOT GIVE UP! I guess we are starting Phase 2 of our journey and let the fun begin. The sky is the limit now!!!! I guess my challenge now is not so much about paper work… it will be teaching/guiding my little princess to become the person she chooses to be.
